A powerful and involved story, written with humility and modesty about one man's escape from a burning bomber, into german occupied france. A fine book and great read.
Astonishing Read.
Remarkable story told so well, its as if you are there along side him all of the time. The author makes you very aware of the harrowing true costs in life that the people who protected him ultimately paid. The book has genuine photos of the author taken while on the run which really add a sence of depth and understanding to his account. Some of the pictures are not pretty, war never is.
Read this book, you will never forget it!
