a wonderfully informative lavish book
a wonderfully informative book, one of the best I have ever read about victorian jewellery. It puts the jewellery into context also, showing fashion plates of the time and explaining the styles of jewellery and how they were influenced by historical, economic and political events. An excellent resource book.
