A collage of stories - and nothing much else...
No doubt the author started off writing this book with good intentions, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. And it's a shame he gives NO help to those trying to escape from their hells.
He talks of Loneliness, of Sex, of Disease and Disability.
But that's it. He just talks about these topics.
There are a few nuggets of wisdom here and there - but there really is nothing to guide those people in terrible situations, or suffering long afflictions, out of their troubles.
