Very useful!
I referred to this book again and again throughout my pregnancy, and prepared herbs for my home birth, which was fantastic...no drugs, no stitches, just under five hours all told. The herbs were just one part of my overall preparation. The book is well written and fairly comprehensive, if a little scattered at times, with slightly different info on the same things in a couple of places, which meant I had to re-read a bit...the section on Herbs for Labour could be laid out better, but altogether, it worked for me! If you've never used herbs before though, consult a professional - they can be very powerful.
