Dr. August W. Rihaczek is recognized as one of the world's leading experts in radar technology. He has over 40 years of experience in the field and is vice president of MARK Resources, Inc., in Torrance, California. He holds a Doctorate in electrical engineering from Technical University of Munich. Dr. Stephen J. Hershkowitz is a senior scientist at MARK Resources. He earned his Ph.D. in physics at Stanford University.

A revelation
This book will change your life. Well, if you are in any way connected with high resolution radar imaging of vehicle-sized targets it will. If you have no interest in radar, then this really isn't the book for you - it's not one for the layman or hobbiest.
However, if you are professionally or academically involved in radar research and the understanding of target imagery at high resolutions then this is an essential read. Gus Rihaczek presented his "Principles of High Resolution Radar" back in the 1960s, and this became the bible for radar resolution theory. The only trouble is that the conventional theories presented there do not work for complex, man-made targets.
This new book presents a completely new way of thinking about target scattering behaviour and its effects on target imagery. With very little maths and a lot of examples this book will challenge the way you think about radar imagery forever.
