Product Description

According to former Israeli ambassador to the U.N. Dore Gold, the source of Middle East violence and international terrorism is not Islam in general, but a specific, radical strain of Islam called Wahab. Though still a minority sect, the Wahabis are the dominant group in Saudi Arabia and, its tentacles have spread throughout the Islamic world.

Amazon.co.uk Review
In the global search for culprits and causes in the rise of terrorism, former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Dore Gold shines a spotlight on a nation many think of as a close ally of the United States: Saudi Arabia. As he explains in Hatred's Kingdom: How Saudi Arabia Supports the New Global Terrorism, Gold believes that the Saudi government is greatly influenced by the Islamist sect known as Wahhabism and, he explains, that influence has lead to Saudi support of terrorism in the Middle East, Europe, the United States and around the world. The historical portion of Gold's argument, where he traces the emergence of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and the changing face of Saudi leadership, is admirably extensive and detailed. His modern research is a little more uneven, relying on statements by various Muslim clergy members, letters to the editors of newspapers, opinion pieces, and other evidence that is rarely damnable. Curiously, mentions of Israel and the long-standing Arab-Israeli conflict are much more infrequent than one would expect from an Israeli diplomat and scholar. But regardless of one's opinion of Gold's research or his alarming conclusions, the book offers something not often found in modern political nonfiction: a coherent structure, exhaustive research and a clear and consistent perspective on the ongoing threat of terrorism. --John Moe, Amazon.com

Mid-East reality. Shocking revelations.5
This extremely well written study of terrorism and it's alleged supporters within the Middle East will hold the reader's attention throughout and will shock many.

Included within his own personal review of this book, Richard Perle (former Assistant Secretary Of Defence) declared "If the Saudis do not move to extinguish the fire they have been fuelling, they will themselves be consumed by it."

The author, a former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, has through a meticulous study involving the use of previously unpublished documents, revealed the hidden depth of how Saudi Arabia has itself allegedly been the sponsor and paymaster of worldwide terrorism.

These revelations and disclosures are very illuminating whilst some entities have allegedly tried to cover-up and excuse Saudi Arabia's funding and sponsorship of worldwide terror.

A plethora of issues are investigated here, not least the alleged Saudi funding of Palestinian terror groups such as HAMAS & Islamic Jihad, plus the alleged payments to the families of Palestinian suicide/homicide bombers, including a Saudi 'telethon' that raised some $109 million for Palestinian 'martyrs'.

The photographs displayed in this book reveal Palestinian school-children at kindergartens dressed in combat fatigues carrying replica firearms, with one young girl enacting the dipping of her hands in the blood of an Israeli for the cameras. A model of Jerusalem's Dome of the Rock is nearby.

Al Qaeda and the countdown to September 11th is also studied here together with an analysis of the immense global reach that the tentacles of such terrorist organisations can now extend to and their disturbing implications for us all.

This study outlines that if anyone reading this book believes that Saudi Arabia is an ally of the US and the West in the 'war against terrorism', then through the facts disclosed in this work, they will rapidly discover that they have been mislead.

This is an extremely through and well written study on this subject which I highly recommend. But be prepared.
