Customer Reviews
An essential book for the vegetarian(or any other) kitchen
My best friend gave me a copy ten years ago and it has been used probably every fortnight ever since. It is written with authority and devotion, even having instructions on how to approach a recipe. Its size means you can always find something new and Yamuna Devi rivals Madhur Jaffrey in making a novice feel capable of creating authentic indian cuisine. Another amazing discovery is that not a single clove of garlic is involved, thus resulting in delicious food that doesn't make you feel guilty in public the next day. An evening spent making food with this book beats any take away.
