Clear and motivational for both new and older Catholics
As someone new to the Catholic faith, confession has always been something to be dreaded, the proverbial dark cloud on the horizon. Fr Francis clears away the cobwebs of doubt about what confession means, why it is practised and how to go about it. He gives a step by step guide on all the different stages of the rite in a way that is both sensible and intelligent. After finishing the book, I found myself no longer struggling with the fear of confession but actually looking forward to unburdoning myself and finding the peace Fr Francis describes. Well worth reading by those like me who are new to the faith and older Catholics in need of a little motivation.
