Synopsis
In order to obtain a picture of children's experiences of, and attitudes to, family and social life, MORI Social Research interviewed a nationally representative sample of 998 children, aged between 8 and 15. The survey describes all aspects of the children's immediate and extended family contacts, activities and discipline. School and leisure, friendships, worries and problems are frankly discussed. Children showed acute awareness of adult concerns and an interesting perspective on parents and other adults and role models.
