About the Author
John Mellor is the author of 12 books on sailing. The sea is his life: after five years in the Royal Navy he spent 20 years as a professional yacht skipper, interspersed with spells as a sailing school manager, trawler skipper and navigation instructor. He sails an old Cornish Lugger.

This little book does an excellent job of explaining what all this means - and although at first sight the Regulations are simple and straightforward - you need be quite sure you understand the correct interpretation. Learn in the comfort of your own home, not nursing the wounds of getting it wrong at sea.
