About the Author
John Mellor is the author of 12 books on sailing. The sea is his life: after five years in the Royal Navy he spent 20 years as a professional yacht skipper, interspersed with spells as a sailing school manager, trawler skipper and navigation instructor. He sails an old Cornish Lugger.
