Big book a little disappointing
Superfast delivery and well packed.

This book is no lightweight and aimed (maybe it should be) at the serious antique collector. Those with a seriously healthy bank balance looking for Georgian or earlier stuff will find it a useful reference, but for amateur collectors starting with a few inexpensive pieces there is a lack of information about 20th Century silversmiths.

Though a 2009 revised edition it is still quite out of date - hallmarks listed are only up to 1989. This feels like the Victorian version - certainly needs a lot more revision to bring it into the 21st Century. This big heavy dinosaur could be made smaller and lighter without the three inch margin on every page.
