Customer Reviews
An essential resourse for the whole ambit of situ theory.
Thorough compilation of situ stuff. Neat work by the classics - Debord, Vaneigem, et al. Covers everything from psychogeography, unitary urbanism, detournment and all of the main aspects of the situ critique of modern capitalist society in the late 20th century. A detailed overview of everything that fell under the scrutiny of the S.I. But be prepared for the broad nature of the situationist's critique.
How Not To Review Situationist Books
This is a brilliant collection of situationist classics...if you expect a review that follow these well trodden lines, you are misreading!
This book gathers together a lot of translated material from the journal, some with brilliantly provocative titles (Interview with an Imbecile) and content (On the Poverty of Student Life). They would, however, not be keen on formulaic Amazon reviews so I'll leave it at that.
