Interesting, clear, understandable - a true introduction
This book explains clearly what the Tree of Life is and how it can be applied to everyday living, in terms of businesses, countries, economics - and the spirit. Kabbalah is hard work and this is an ideal book for the beginner, being rooted in real life, not just religion. The first part of the book explains the history and the metaphysical philosophy in easy to understand terms. That Halevi takes the trouble to apply the model to the real world shows a great enthusiasm for his subject as well as the depth of his knowledge. Obviously a good teacher, he leaves the explanation of the spiritual to the latter part of the book, making sure that the reader has a clear idea of the Tree's application to the outside world, before s/he begins to explore the inner world. I liked this book very much.
