The beautiful essence of Islam captured in 40 sayings
Hadith after the Quran are the most important source of guidance for Muslims. This book has 40 deep and beautiful hadith. The essence for me is portrayed by the Mercy of God, and his willingness to forgive a perpetually transgressing man/woman. This is an ideal book for Muslims and to a degree non-Muslims who already have some knowledge about islam. The language is clear and easy, and each saying is quite short, but with an encapsulated message. For Muslims, this is truly a book that transcends age and knowledge. For all it is a book than can be read lesson by lesson, maybe kept by the bed, reading one hadith a night, as something to ponder over. For the more inquisitive, each hadith can be delved in to in depth, gaining from it all the knowledge that is possible. All in all, this book is a must for Muslims, and a good read for those interested in Islam. In a word it is Inspirational.!!
