good book, mediocre area
Whilst the area it describes isn't anything special for mountain biking, the book itself is well written, with good hand-drawn maps (couldn't get OS copyright?) and pictures indicating the types of trail to be encountered.

A sterling effort, and the real advantage is that someone has taken the time to put together decent routes, saving time putting together route ideas, giving you more time to ride!

Out of date
I have only tried 2 of the routes included in this book, Ashley Heath & Severn Valley. But, it was evident that the routes detailed must have been surveyed a number of years ago. Parts of both routes were unrideable, clearly get very little use as the path was non-existent or overgrown, bridlepaths ploughed up, electric cattle fences across route, no way marked signs, chewed up by horses, etc.
