Excellent guide to making traditional willow baskets5
This book is a guide giving techniques and patterns for traditional willow baskets. It assumes no previous experience and describes each project in detailed steps. Round, oval and square baskets are covered, starting simply and building up to impressive results. Full lists are given of the materials needed for each basket, and how to prepare them. The instructions are very detailed and are supported by clear line drawings. About 13 different designs are covered with variations. This is an example of what a 'how to..' book should be.
