When Denis Cotter's cooking hits the high notes, as it frequently does, I reckon he produces the best food in Cork and, coincidentally, some of the best vegetarian fare in all of Europe. Wonderful vegetarian cooking, where the vegetable is the star. Not just another mixed veg plus sauce cookbook, these are more like restaurant fare, and more suitable for dinner parties than dinner for the kids at six. One word of warning: don't buy with Paradiso: Seasons. This is just Seasons excerpted.
