Customer Reviews

This is a MUST HAVE book for all teachers of Mathematics5
This book brings numbers alive. It gives insights into how numbers appear everyday, how numbers help form patterns and the interconnection between types of number. It is accesible to a 10 yr old, yet provides challenges for all levels of Mathematics up to degree. It should be in every Maths teachers collection and ALL school libraries.

So pleased to see it back in print5
This book is excellent. It interests the reader in numbers. You can be between 5 and 95 to enjoy it. The facts vary from the useful to the unhelpful, the level of mathematics from basic to A level. All school libraries should have a copy. All primary teachers should use the facts from 1-31 to give an interest to the date. All secondary teachers should use it to excite students in the relevance of mathematics and how it is the science of patterns.
Best bit - pentagonal bolts in the USA.
