Customer Reviews
Good read
Decent book with some interesting facts and well researched. A little on the short side and the small format of the book was unexpected but will whet your appetite for some more so maybe buy this as a taster and then buy one of Russ Kick's bigger books with more content if you wanna know more than 50 facts. Also check out his website.
Open your eyes
I have yet to read a book this small that can have such a big impact on me and my perceptions.
Some of the facts are really not that interesting, such as that scientists don't read all the articles they cite, that Carl Sagan smoked pot and that many of the witches burned at the stake were actually men.
However, the majority of the facts that have somehow been made covered up are simply shocking and warrant more media attention on them.
All in all, this book is an excellent starter for a larger installment. If you like this one and are ready to carry on, buy and read Russ Kick's other books. They have the same type of information as this one but have a lot more detail.
Hm, some interesting things, mostly boring though
Out of the 50, about 3 or 5 things are actually worth knowing, the rest is just rubbish.
Maybe a good present for somebody, looks good from the cover, and flicking through it looks worth reading, but upon proper inspection it doesn't have much substance.
If you really want to know about things they are hiding from you, get Michael Moore's Stupid White Men, that will wake you up, and realise the madness with which our friends in the states are living under.
