About the Author
SYLVIA BROWNE was born in Kansas City, Missouri. At three years old, Sylvia’s psychic powers were revealed when she announced that her grandfather was dead (he was), and that she would have a baby sister in three years. Just as predicted, Sharon was born one month short of Sylvia’s sixth birthday. Sylvia’s grandmother, Ada Coil, was herself a medium; and Celeste, Sylvia’s mother, grew up in a home where visions were commonplace. Although she herself was not psychic, Celeste accepted it as normal, if somewhat annoying. She did not welcome more eccentricity in her life, however, and would do nothing to encourage it in her daughter. Their lifelong relationship was strained, but Sylvia’s relationship with her father was very close and loving. Millions of people have witnessed Sylvia Browne’s incredible psychic powers on TV shows such as Montel, Larry King Live, Entertainment Tonight, and Unsolved Mysteries; and she has been profiled in Cosmopolitan, People magazine, and other national media. Sylvia is the author of numerous books and audios; is president of the Sylvia Browne Corporation; and is the founder of her church, the Society of Novus Spiritus, located in Campbell, California.

one of the best books on the subject5
I've read a lot of books on angels and there is an abundance of information on them, but I think this book is really special.Sylvia talks about the different categories of angels in great depth and I feel I understand their creation and their roles in our lives so much more. Even if you are only mildly curious about angels I would recommend this book because I think it really encapsulates the power of angels to positively impact our lives and it could open a lot of people's minds, after all you don't have to believe in them, you only need to ask them for help. Sylvia says angels don't mind being put to the test. This is a beautiful book, an engrossing read and a great reminder that all the love, healing, protection and whatever else we could want is there for us and it's all free!

sylvia brownes book of dreams5
very informative ith a surprising amount of varied information.not your usual"this dream means this" book.it explains each type of dream, gives examples of each, and even helps you to decide why you have them and how you benefit from each type.

Another Fluffy Angel Book2
I picked this book up at the local library - as I have had 4 encounters with Angels myself, and enjoy reading other people's experiences.

The book is very formulaic - an introduction then descriptions of types of angels with real stories. There is a real market at the moment for these kinds of books from the likes of Doreen Virtue et al, but I can't help wishing somebody would write something a bit deeper.

Sylvia tells us that there are no fallen angels and that angels don't have a sense of humour. I would disagree personally upon those points - but that is a matter of personal experience and belief. I do not think that authors should claim to have definate knowledge of such things - by doing so they are basically intimating that experiences outside of their "rules" are false, or that other authors are wrong. Her "rules" also contravene biblical infomation (no, i'm not a christian, but I do read the Bible)- she says that angels don't kill people - and yet there is an "Angel of Death" in many cultures. She also says that God doesn't take sides and isn't vengeful. Mmmn.First born Egyptian anybody?

I enjoyed the personal stories of people - but as for the rest? Extremely fluffy.
