Organized around the most commonly-studied radio genres, Starkey offers an ideal blend of theory and practical guidance, which is particularly useful when writing evaluations. The book is supported by extensive illustrations, a full glossary, references to further reading, tips on getting into radio and exercises to develop practical and critical skills. Ideal for anyone studying radio, the media, communications and/or journalism, at undergraduate, HND and postgraduate levels - as well as for short courses in radio or audio production techniques.
