User friendly
I really like this format. I have looked at very, very many different teaching aids to Spanish, (and bought a few too) and I do think that this is the best one. The format makes good use of colour and variety. There are listening, writing and speaking exercises. It does not ignore the grammar, but explains grammatical points succinctly. The CDs are essential to you progressing on the course. I genuinely think that you can make progress by yourself using this format. Its exceptionally well thought out and executed.

I am now onto the second CD so that means I managed to get through the first!! This is a good system for home learning although at first I found the speed at which the Spanish people were speaking somewhat breakneck for my breakthrough! Like all languages once my ear had adjusted to the voices and I repeatedly listened I began to understand more. I would have liked a little more work exercises and grammar instruction.

Great, it does the job. Get the CDs that accompany it.
