excellent b-school prep4
This is a pretty useful book. I used it to get up to speed on maths concepts before starting my MBA at Wharton. Prior to commencing business school the pinnacle of my mathematical achievements was attaining a 'C' in GCSE Mathematics, so it is no understatement to say that I had a lot to learn. This book contains all of the maths concepts that I have needed to use at business school which is why I rate it so highly.

The book is particularly helpful for those such as myself who were schooled in the British system (i.e. GCSEs and 'A'-levels) as it makes it easier to plug where you left off. The review of basic algebra was helpful and from there I went on to teach myself basic statistics, calculus and linear programming. I had never seen any of these subjects at school, but using this book was able to make a decent start and gain sufficient understanding to ensure that I did not fall behind on my MBA coursework.

For anyone who does not have a quantitative background I would really recommend working through this book before commencing any business degree
