"This book is exactly what was needed. It is aimed at a wide audience – not only clinical oncologists but also physicians, surgeons, gynaecologists, general practitioners and even medical students. All in all this book is destined to become a classic." The Lancet
"Each [chapter] is well up–to–date and a model of clarity, and one of the most outstanding, Supportive Care and Symptom Relief, should be compulsory reading for all would–be cancer specialists. The authors′ discussion of controversial topics, such as adjuvant therapy and combined modality treatment, is excellent." British Medical Journal
"...for those of us bedevilled by increasing subspecialisation and in need of regular refreshers in the management of cancers they are not longer seeing regularly, this book is ideal. It is well written by authors recognised for their articulacy." Clinical Oncology

Just Brilliant
This book is a must for anyone studying Cancer, whether a medic, a scientist or just someone with an interest.
It is written in a style that is accessible to all and is clear and easy to follow. The book is divided into chapters, each concerning a diferent type of cancer, head and neck, skin, leukaemia, bowel etc and etc. Each chapter covers the causes, progression, anantomy, treatment, prognosis etc etc for each.
This book was a godsend when I was doing my MSc Oncology, and I would recommend it with the highest praise.
Cancer and its Management
Far, far better than Walter and Miller's textbook of radiotherapy. Gives COMPLETE cancer management so not just looking at RT stuff. Invaluable for 2nd year RT and style of writing is clear to read. Has some excellent lymphatic diagrams as well which are good enough to scan and re-use in presentations. All in all, a lovely book which has been used regularly and not ended up gathering dust.
simply brilliant
It is an excellant book which presents the vast complex field of oncology in a very clear and concise format.A must have book for the beginners as well as the experts in the field.
