Customer Reviews
Excellent book
This book is excellent for Dermatology rotations. It is easy to read, with a user friendly layout. It is also small enough to carry around, unlike some of the other Dermatology books on the market. There are enough pictures, although with such a visible subject as Dermatology you can never have too many pictures! Definitely recommend it.
All essentials covered for short attachments
Being concise but thorough, "Dermatology" is an excellent book for medical students with short attachments in this subject. Clear distinctions are made between the common and (important) rarer conditions, and presented in an easily readable manner. Is an up-to-date text with excellent colour photographs illustrating conditions. Helpful MCQ/ case-study self assessments make it useful for revision.
Great dermatological "on-the-spot" reference
A really fun and easy to use book, with many fully-coloured pictures and short, brief explanations of dermatological conditions. Its slim and handy size makes it perfect as a source of on-the-spot referencing during dermatology rotations. The case studies and glossary section at the end of the book are delightful additions to this new edition. However this book would have been even better had the authors added summary tables of presentation keywords and treatment regimes for the various skin conditions.
