Editorial Reviews

Review
′This is a really useful text. Health promotion, an essential aspect of the nurse′s role, has not previously been given sufficient prominence. The chapters are written by notable authors and despite their diversity, there is continuity to it, giving it an overall coherence and sense of whole. This is a thoroughly useful text.′

Customer Reviews

excellent for nursing students5
There are so many health promotion books around, but this seems to be the first one that actually is nursing specific, and is relevant for nursing courses. It's got specific examples of nursing practice in each chapter, and there are lots of activities to practice what we've learnt. I'm in my first year of nursing, and this is a really good book to clearly explain quite a complicated subject area.
