A superb textbook!5
I found this book brilliant as both a text book and a revision aid, the diagrams are clear and easy to understand. The text, although brief covers all the points that you need to know. I recommend it to anyone.

Concise text for accurate introduction to the CV system4
This text is ideal as introduction to a very complex and expansive area of biomedical science. It addresses all the complexities of the cardiovascular system, breaking it down to understandable chunks of key information. It's unlikely to prove useful for anyone beyond their first or second year of medical studies, a more comprehensive text will be needed. However, for those who have just started their medical studies it is an invaluable resource delivering the essentials when the abundance of information available often seems overwhelming. The only criticism is that some terms that are well used are not always explained, hence not the full five stars. If your course is systems based, this is essential reading.

Well written with clear diagrams5
The Cardiovascular System at a Glance is well laid out and is easy to understand. It gives concise and clear explanations of the cardiovascular system and of cardiovascular disease. A great study aid.
