Customer Reviews
Bite-size, easy to digest, quality chunks of science
This is an essential book for any medical student studying neuroscience. It helps to make the subject less daunting, breaking it up into small topics, helping to give a fundemantal knowledge. it also has some deeper aspects of the subject, making it suitable even for the more educated reader. A revolutionary text.
Great book
Good for revision or people just starting out with neuroscience.
I bought it to look up things briefly when revising for finals.
Unlike I've experienced with other at a glance books, some sections go over a double page which isn't quite as clear but otherwise nice clear text and diagrams.
Neuroscience at a Glance
A comprehensive account of all neuroscience needed to gain good understanding of neurology:
1.Clear explanations of a broad range of neurological concepts
2.Inter-dependent chapters mean that you can dip into any section
3.General overview of neuroscience in concise format relating pre-clinical science to clinical practice
4.Diagrams support and inform the text and can be read on their own.
