Had to buy a bigger version!
I'm sure if I could actually read the maps in this guide they would prove ok but as it is I need a magnifying glass to see them (and I don't even wear glasses!). Yes it is pocket size but to the detriment of the content. This guide was a big disappointment and I had to buy a bigger version instead. This review applies to the Rome version too.

Good eyesight needed!
Content is good (as I'd expect from a DK guide) but, be warned, it really is pocket-sized and so the typeface is pretty small ...

Very good for walking around with
I was really happy with this little book. It really does fit into your pocket and has every important detail you need to travel around Venice. I didn't find the writing too small and was impressed with the maps and pictures. I really recommend it.
