Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

‘[This book] provides a good introduction to the subject.  In a particularly useful way, the author sets out some of the main arguments on either side of controversial issues.  Students are likely to find this a readable and enjoyable text.’

Customer Reviews

Not particularly clear2
I found this book to be long and rambling, with it sometimes going on for pages and pages without any subheadings. I don't doubt that Jefferson knows his stuff, but it is not organised coherently at all in my view. I had to use other textbooks to supplement my knowledge after I was left confused.

Easy to read4
This book is laid out in an easy to read format, with a summary section after each chapter. Would recommend.
