An excellent book explaining how to draw faces
This is a wonderful art book giving excellent step-by-step instructions on how to draw faces. There are many styles to choose from, and the great thing is that using the Usborne web link you can print or download outlines to colour in. As an ex-art student I think that any one of any age would find this book useful!
A real bargain!
This book is for children but it would also suit any adult who's interested in learning how to draw faces. It's a 60-page book that covers quite a lot of broad areas including all the basic technical aspects of face drawing as well as how to deal with angles & lighting. There's also a range of drawing styles you can try out - everything from fine art to modern & quirky to cartoon to abstract!
Because it's primarly been designed for children, the book is written & illustrated in a way that is colourful, fun & accessible. I've got a few other drawing books (for adults) and none of them are as fun as this one or got me drawing as quickly as this did!
Great resource
This is a great resource for teachers and young artists. It shows the many different techniques and materials you could use and instructions on how to use them.
The book is well illustrated and very inspiring.
