A very useful lexicon for the New Testament
This is not an entire Greek lexicon but a smaller, easier to use version that omits words not found in the New Testament. It's also quite useful for studying the Septuagint, and covers about forty percent of the vocabulary. If a word is also found in the Septuagint it gives the most common Hebrew and Aramaic words translated, and the meaning in both the LXX and NT. There is lots of information including references to many other works, ancient and modern. The masculine, feminine and neuter forms of adjectives are listed, and the genitive forms of nouns if they may not be obvious, and also the forms in other cases if they are irregular. One of the most useful features is a list of the principal parts of the irregular verbs in the NT, and also a list of tricky verb forms identifying which verb it is and the tense, voice and mood. I have found this extremely useful as some forms are nothing like the lexical form and impossible to identify. The meanings of words in different contexts are given with examples from the NT and LXX, and if a word is quite rare every occurance of it will be given. This book has been extremely useful to me, and even if you own a huge full lexicon this may be preferred because of its smaller size and ease of use.
Excellent
I brought this book few months ago and its really excellent in print and the qualitiy is great. I would recommend to anyone who really wants to study greek on a serious note should have a copy of it personally.
Great Job
