Customer Reviews

More in depth than I thought5
This book is an excellent introduction for anyone about to embark on a degree in education studies, it includes all the major disciplines: psychology, sociology, philosophy and history plus includes sections on how to research in the field of education, politics and curriculum issues. When I first saw the book I thought it was very small but it turned out that it contained much more information than I thought.

I feel that this book will be of use to me throughout my 3 year degree and may also prove useful for those embarking on post graduate study in education.

Relevant.5
I am studying a BAhons in Education and Social Inclusion and have found this book to be very helpful in my first semester and it is featured on reading lists for some modules I will be studying so I recommend anyone planning to study an education course to get this book as it does has a good, relevant overview of education.
