Customer Reviews
The best veggie cookbook in the world...ever!
Having flicked through the vast range of veggie cookbooks available today, I despaired that, as a carnivore with a vegetarian partner I would ever find anything that might inspire me to try and cook without meat! Vegetarian Planet quite rightly has a 5 star rating - the recipes are easy to follow, beautifully written and, most importantly, taste sensational. Having thought that this would be a cookery book that I would use grudgingly, it is definitely one of my firm favourites.
Appetizers will impress your guests.
I just had a party featuring appetizers from Didi's book. I made Sushi with a wasabi/ginger sauce, pepper mesa sticks, salsa verde and chedder pecan balls. The guests complimented the food while gobbling up every last bit. The final section that suggests ideas for a full meal including a complimentary wine makes the book invaluable.
very usefull
Vegetarian planet has inspired me to attempt fantastic sounding dishes, such as daikon dumplings, that I never thought I'd have the skills to make. That came out beutifly, and
the bannana cream pie with a choclate layer
wasgreat too.
One of the best cookbooks I've ever used.
