Customer Reviews
This is an excellent quick tutorial on financial statements
"Financial Statements" is great stuff. It clearly and concisely explains how to read and create basic financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) for businesses. It explains accounting terms, and, more importantly, tells you what terms are synonyms (e.g., earnings and profits) and which ones aren't (e.g., orders and sales). The best part about it is, it does all this without telling you one more word than you need to know. It clearly isn't intended for professional accountants, but if you're a non-accountant who needs to understand this stuff, it's great.
Excellent coverage, logical and useful.
Of five books on the subject I reviewed, this one was the clearest, most comprehensive, introduction to the subject of understanding financial statements.
Very educational and useful!
This book is really a must for anyone who wants to learn how to read finacial statements in a quick and easy way. "A Step by Step Guide" is fun to read and is very informative. I recommend it!
