A "Must Have" for any Pagan's Library!
Edain McCoy has been criticized, and fairly, for her lack of scholarship. So be it. But in this volume, she makes atonement for all. Here are the ancient ways, for new practitioners, presented simply and honestly, for all who are curious about the ancient ways (where did the Yule log originate anyway?). Rituals, customs, and even receipes for every major holiday in the pagan year are represented. A thoughtful and delightful book that is of use for all seeking to reclaim the old ways.

A must for Solitary Pagans!
I say Pagans because the book deals with numerous different traditions and denominations. It is a wonderful resource for any Solitary looking to creating her/his own rituals and lore. Each Sabbat is thoroughly described in it's own chapter.

A treasure trove of information
I was most impressed with this particular book. Of all the various books I have read on paganism and associated subjects, I have picked up more information on customs and folklore in this one single volume than I have in any other book! Well done!
