Love the ideas
An excellent book with millions of ideas, but quite difficult to put them into practice. The book is clear and well written but it would be financially impossible to try very many of these recipes - a lot of ingredients are required in such small amounts and mainly by mail order that if you chose the wrong recipe for you well it runs to a great deal more than a pot of face cream off the shelf. Ideal for someone who has access to the ingredients i.e. an aromatherapy stockist, for the lay person not so good. Even so,I believe I will be tempted to try some of the recipes and hang the expense.

waste of money
This book does not seem to be written by a pro. The explanations of the different oils are lacking in depth and read like the material has been borrowed from others. The recipes are time consuming and ridiculous. Who is prepared to use extensive time (and several kitchen appliances) making a face wash that must be prepared daily before use? The recipes are constantly referred to as "also good to eat". I'm wondering if this wasn't written by a cook-turned-trendy-for-aromatherapy. Don't waste your money on this book!

not satisfied
I think the author should eliminate the hard to find materials recipes. This way, maybe, the rest of us, can make beuty cookery while continuing our lives.
