Must have for every Christian woman, wife , mother
This book was so inspiring and challenging. Carolyn Mahaney is frank and practical yet gentle about our God-given responsibilities as wives and mothers. She expounds on Titus chapter 2 and draws from it 7 virtues we are to cultivate in our lives. Her clear wisdom and humility comes through in the examples she uses from her own life. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Although it is directed at married women, there is plenty of sound, biblical advice which would apply to any woman at any stage of life. However I would also urge men to read it as they could then encourage the women in their life in these areas of godly character. Buy one for your sister, mother, daughter, grandmother and even for your husband, father, pastor etc. It is truly refreshing to read some sound teaching on biblical womanhood.

Saying it like it is
Well, I have nearly finished this book and this lady knows what she is talking about. A refreshing look at Titus and how Christian women should apply it. What is also good is that she takes into account single women and young women, and women who do not have babies, and speaks in a very unpatronizing way, for a change. One disappointment, however. She quoted directly from her husband's book and that I find a disappointment. I would have enjoyed having HER own viewpoint and not a repeat of her husband's and that is the reason why I give her 4 points only.
