Customer Reviews
The book all Audiologists have been waiting for.
This book is the most comprehensive, detailed book I have yet come across on hearing aids. Each chapter is clearly written in a logical order and includes acoustical background theory, detailed audiological concepts and descriptions as well as useful practical clinical tips. It will be one of the essential core texts for every student of audiology and should be on the bookshelf of every hearing aid clinic worldwide.
Audiologists and ENT only
This book is too technical for anyone who want to learn more about Hearing aids as a hobby or interest. However this is recommened if your studying to become an Audiologist or any related course. It goes into depth how hearing aids are made and calibrated to indvidual user. Parts of the book might be out of fashion in the future since the NHS are dispensing Digital hearing aids but I suspect a newer up todate version will be out by then.
