Based on his years of experience as a consultant for the FBI, Williams produces explosive and never-before published evidence of the Church's morally questionable financial dealings with sinister organizations over seven decades through today. For both Catholics and non-Catholics, this troubling expose of corruption in one of the most revered religious institutions in the world will serve as a serious call for reform.

Review
"Mr. Williams has an amazing ability to compress vast amounts of material into brief, coherent passages. This is a quick, lucid read and actually enjoyable, despite the horrific nature of its topic. The wealth of information covered is quite astounding. How he made this comprehensible and light enough to digest is beyond me... This very informative volume should be praised for its concise nature. Put it on the top of your reading list... A must read for anyone who wished to understand the modern Catholic Church." --Reviewer's Bookwatch, The Midwest Book Review, November 2008

An important, serious and useful book
This is a very interesting book indeed, not at all sensationalist, but rather an authoritative, detailed and very well written account of the Vatican's lust for wealth and political power. Looking mainly at the twentieth century, it is a
treasure trove of facts and information, and constitutes a tremendous research tool for those concerned to challenge the Roman Pontiff's pretensions to represent Christ, for those with a more general curiosity about what really goes on behind the scenes at the Vatican, or for those pursuing a serious study of twentieth century politics. For whatever its worth, the author holds a doctorate in philosophy and a master's of divinity in church history, has taught religion and philosophy, has had a number of other books published, and was a consultant for the FBI. He writes with a refreshingly lucid, concise and very easily readable style. Highly recommended.
Brief, complete and thrilling.
From the beginning to the end, the book provides a complete account of the Vatican's activities.
The author provides a plethora of details and information about the Vatican's cooperation with the regimes of Mussolini and Hitler. Moreover, you can read about the engagement of the Mafia in the Vatican's business activities and their assistance to the Holy See.
The period examined, dates from pope Pius XI until pope John Paul II. The details provided will definitely keep the reader's attention.
A must read for anyone who wishes to have info about the Vatican's activities and their connection with organized crime.
