Great supplement advice.5
Its easy to go to the gym and hit the weights but without planning, all the hard work put-in could be wasted.
'Nutrient Timing' gives specific advice about what supplements and vitamins have given 'proven' benefit in workout performance and post-workout recovery. Also what supplements to avoid because they have shown to have 'no' real benefit. The book gives advice about the 'timing' of foods (protein/carb drinks)prior to/during/after workout to maximise performance and recovery.
To complete the 'planning' I highly recommend these books:
'The Metabolic Typing' Diet by William Wolcott....because this book gives advice about how to find the optimum balance of Protein/carbs/fats for your every day consumption of whole foods.
'Static Contraction Training' by John Little and 'Max Contraction Training' by John Little....because these revolutionary books give brilliant advice about exercises that will give you immediate muscle growth.Gel all this info together and look forward to a great body!!

Nutrient Timing4
This book is full of useful facts and based on scientific studies. I studied sports science at uni therefore I have a fairly good understanding of nutrition and the effects of exercise on the human body. The bit about the supplementation is really good however the book attempts to break down the balanced diet into various food types which is frankly boring and not practicle. Often a bit confusing too. This book should stick to the supplementation side of things rather than venture into breaking down the healthy diet into blocks of this and that.
