Inspiring
I disagree completely with the previous review of this book. The recipes and accompanying photographs are enticing enough to make you want to try all the recipes. The book starts with a few 'simpler' recipes (which are more suggestions rather than recipes), but the bulk of the book is made up of complete recipes. I do not imagine anyone would use this book to create breakfast for the working week. I use it for the weekend when you have more time and want some ideas for a great breakfast that isn't just bacon and eggs.

I would recommend this book.

disappointing
This book veers between the laughably simple (is chilled guava juice actually a recipe?) and stupidly over the top (twice-cooked cheese souffle). Many of the recipes are much more suitable for lunch: who, for example, has the inclination to make or eat deep fried whitebait for breakfast before the school run? No-one in our house, that is for sure! A book that has no place in any cook's library: the recipes that are any good are what most people will be cooking for breakfast anyway, and the ones that aren't, well, you won't want to cook them!Avoid!
