Having been exposed to senseless tragedy early in her life, aspiring American actress Cassidy Hamilton believes in going after what she wants and pulling no punches while doing so. And at this point in her life, what she wants is a career on the stage and stuffy, older British CEO, Tony Carleton. Tony is used to going after what he wants as well, and that's why it pains him to step back from Cassidy. At 36, he is 14 years older than she and feels that he's much too old for her. He is determined, despite his attraction and her persistence, that they won't have a relationship - unless they're on his terms - of course. Cassidy doesn't like his terms; in fact, she can't stand them, but she agrees to them, if only because it will get her what she wants in the end. But trouble dogs Cassidy, following her from London to Chicago and back again.Someone wants her dead, and he will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. The two lovers must first figure out who wants her dead, and then they must figure out a way to stop him.

Title says it all!
This novel is simply wicked, as the title proclaims. I found my favourite character to be Lady Carleton. The things she came out with and you can just image her saying them in her perfect British, upperclass English accent. I found myself finishing this book in no time, but my only dissapointment was as a reader you weren't able to understand how the attraction between the lead characters initially started. As you got closer to the end, you could also sense what twist in the plot was coming up. I also found that the things were moving along pretty fast and you didn't have a chance to connect with one chapter, as the following chapter leaped to days, weeks even months ahead. It was an enjoyable read none the lest!
