About the Author
Helen Barnett is a trained medical journalist and an acupuncturist. She has contributed to a number of books including The Home Medical Library, The Natural Pharmacy and The Family Medical book. She is also a Member of the UK Committee on Safety of Medicines. Dr George Lewith, the general editor, is a senior university lecturer, a GP, acupuncturist and homeopath, and is head of the Centre for the Study of Complementary Medicine in Southampton, Manchester and London.
