back together4
Love this series and the way garth ennis writes comics. Another stone in the preacher masterpiece

I'd give it five, but I don't like the idea of Cassidy...4
being this nasty. I don't actually own this, I collected the series as it went along monthly, so this was all the better having to wait to find what happened next. Garth Ennis is the only person to live up to the long time comicbook phrase "Nothing will ever be the same after this arc". This, I think would be the second post War In the Sun collection, and so far it's been a totally different series, from the OTT sex, violence and language mess it started as to an alomst soap opera stylee. I've also read the end of the series, and all I can say to those who haven't is get set for more heartbreak and betrayals in the last book Alamo (i almost cried whilst reading the last two issues), which should be out soon.

Hellishly Good5
The latest instalment in Ennis and Dillon Preacher saga has to be the darkest yet. As ever the art is beautiful and atmospheric, the writing superb. In this volume we see Tulip and Jesse reunited after her mistaken belief in Jesse's death at Monument valley. In a moment of clarity she leaves the parasitic Cass and travels to her college friend in New York. To her shock and surprise Jesse is also there and a sweaty reunion occurs:) The story then delves into the background of Cass and we find out that maybe he is not as nice a vampire as he first appeared. Also in this volume is a flashback special to our favorite couples early days as car thieves in texas. Highly amusing and graphic as ever. Again though Ennis and Dillon cant fail to delight fans with this latest instalment. The plot thickens and a showdown is imminent. Cant wait till the next Part.
