From the pages of The Sandman comes Lyta Hall, the woman responsible for the death of Morpheus, the first dream-lord. At the conclusion of The Sandman, Lyta's young son, Daniel, assumed the role of dream-lord; now Lyta's story is revealed...Born half-human and half-Fury, Lyta has always connected more with her human side. But now the bloodline that connects her to the Furies - a terrifying trio of spirits who deal their own awful brand of vengeance - is claiming both her body and mind. Attempting to escape her pain and unravel her mysterious heritage, Lyta joins a travelling theatre troupe on their way to Athens - her mother's home. But a series of cruel, yet familiar mythological figures have their sights set on destroying the Furies...and want to use Lyta as a pawn...

Furies
I am quite new to the Sandman series but i am increasing my collection and i think this book will be a good addition to any Sandman fan or graphic novel fan. This book has amazing illistrations and and a fantastic fantasy story. Those of you expecting another Neil Gaimen masterpiece may be dissapointed to hear that he was a not a main writer for the book but this does not make the book in any way less of a quality Sandman novel. My only real trouble is that you may find it a bit confusing if you are not very familiar with Greek mythology (if you are like me) but overall a very good book.
