Both the Airbus A340 and A330 are loosely based upon the design of the A300. They are built with wings swept to 30 degrees and with 2.74 metre winglets, the difference being that the A330 is powered by two engines and the A340 by four.

Good analysis of the "Bus Brothers"
Last title in the nice Airlife's airliners series, examines in detail the successful Airbus big brothers.
Particularly interesting and accurate the chapter on development, and also the technical description. It is a pity that the engines are only superficially described, but notwithstanding this, (and a few mis-printed photos) the volume is at a very high standard.
Recommended to all jetliners fans!

A very good insight
Lots of great background for those wanting to find more about these planes, including the interaction and roles of the different parts of Airbus in different countries and the new technology used.

Some may wish for a bit more detail with some more facts and figures and science type stuff. Lots of good (almost too many) pictures with a wide range of liveries.

Certainly well worth adding to you Airlife collection.
