Good small book, despite the laid out isses
This is a handy little book but when I say little I don't mean in terms of content but it's width. It's only 11.5cm wide which causes some problems; the pages are not laid out as I would have expected them. This is a pictorial guide so the photos are key, but when the images of the long balled weapons are laid across both pages parts of them are not visible as they fall between the two pages. It would have made more sense to align these images vertically.
Having said that, the information in the book is clear and concise. The statistics for each weapon are consistent and the majority of the images are of high quality.
This may not be a Jane's book but if you can get hold of one cheap then it would make a welcome addition to a reference shelf.
