This book is aimed at students taking the GCSE Double Science award and at teachers who will find it useful as a handy reference and planner. The first three sections of the book include a summary of ′Materials and their properties′ for key stage 3 of the national curriculum as a foundation for key stage 4. Other sections cover requirements for key stage 4, GCSE double science award and the core content of GCSE Chemistry. Each page is presented diagrammatically in an attractive way using illustrations, tables and some photographs. This approach is designed to make it easier for students to learn the facts and commit them to memory. The book also contains review questions at each stage, plus periodic tables.

Customer Reviews
Extremely Useful
I found this book extremely helpful, it got me an A* at GCSE. The page layout is clear and uncluttered. The questions at the bottom of each page are simple and ensure you have the basics. Enough detail but does not overload you like other Chemistry books can. The resources at the back of the book mean you can always refer back to the most simple chemical theory.
