Customer Reviews
A colourful easy to learn revision guide for all syllabuses.
I have only been using this study guide a short time, but already I have found it very useful in understanding the harder concepts of AS Chemistry. I have found this excellent book easy to use and very helpful. I recommend it to all chemistry students studying AS level.
What information is there - is great!
I bought this book when I was half way through my AS chemistry course, and found it very usefull. The information is laid out in a clear, easy to understand way. I found, that when i didn't understand a lesson, if i read the relevant part of this book, all became clear.
The one flaw of this book is that it clains to cover all of OCR, AQA, Edexcel etc. At the front of the book, there is even a guide as to which pages are relevant for which board. However, I did the OCR salters course (which it claims to cover), and when it came to revision, I found that it only covered about 1/2 to 3/4 of the material. However, I can't say whether this is the case for all the exam boards.
Overall, I would definitely advise that you buy this book if you need extra help or as an aid to create you revision notes. However, just as a warning, don't rely on it to cover all the information on the course.
